Ambassador Adibi met with Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong

In the afternoon of January 9, at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic Iranian teacher in Vietnam Saleh Adibi.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong was pleased to see that Vietnam-Iran relations have developed well over the past time.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong highly appreciated Iran's socio-economic achievements. The Deputy Minister hoped that, with the good traditional relations between the two countries, Saleh Adibi Ambassador will continue to contribute to the multifaceted relationship between Vietnam and Iran, which is growing better and better.

Saleh Adibi Ambassador thanked Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong for taking the time and sending new year greetings to the Party, State and Vietnamese people. Saleh Adibi Ambassador said that during his mission in Vietnam, the Ambassador always received help and coordination from the Vietnamese side, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ambassador appreciated the achievements that Vietnam has made in the past years, with positive reforms in many fields, especially trade and investment. The ambassador affirmed that Iran always attaches great importance to the traditional friendship between the two countries and wishes to promote the relationship between the two countries to further develop.

On this occasion, the two sides also discussed issues of mutual concern, as well as issues to promote bilateral relations in the future.
