On 27 October 2025, His Excellency Dr. Jalalzadeh, Deputy for Consular, Parliamentary and Iranian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Her Excellency Mrs. Nguyen Minh Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, in Hanoi. During the meeting, H.E Dr. Jalalzadeh underlined the importance of bilateral relations and referred to the policy of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to strengthen cooperation with the East Asian countries, particularly Viet Nam. He also referred to the exchange of high-level delegations and the need to accelerate the convening of joint bilateral mechanisms, expressing the wish to see the growing trend of Tehran–Hanoi relations continue. The two Deputy Ministers also exchanged views on various international subjects and bilateral consular issues.
