On 26 October 2025, His Excellency Dr. Jalalzadeh, Deputy for Consular, Parliamentary and Iranian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with His Excellency Mr. Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and discussed bilateral relations. H.E Dr. Jalalzadeh congratulated to the Vietnamese government its success for the well-organized ceremony held in Ha Noi on the occasion of the signing of the United Nations Convention on Countering Cybercrime (the Hanoi Convention), describing the participation of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a manifestation of Iran’s respect for the International Law and International Bodies, and its commitment to strengthen bilateral relations with Vietnam. He also pointed to the growing relations between the two countries and the exchange of political delegations, emphasizing the role of high-level visits in further deepening bilateral ties. The two sides also discussed and exchanged views on a range of consular issues.
