Farewell Meeting of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the President of Vietnam

On the 26th of June, 2025, H.E Mr. Ali Akbar Nazari, ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the brink of the conclusion of his mission, met with H.E Mr. Luong Cuong, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for a farewell meeting.

H.E Mr. Nazari, thanked the continued support of Vietnamese officials and institutions throughout his tenure and highlighted the importance of high-level delegation exchanges in the development of bilateral relations. He also mentioned the significant visits of senior officials from both countries over the past two years, as well as the signing of 15 cooperation agreements between the two countries during these visits.

H.E Mr. Cuong congratulated Ambassador Nazari on the successful completion of his mission in expanding and developing the friendly relations between the two countries, Vietnam and Iran. He acknowledged Mr. Nazari's constructive role and efforts in enhancing bilateral ties.
