H.E Mr. Nazari Meets with Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia

His Excellency Mr. Ali Akbar Nazari, the accredited Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Cambodia, met with His Excellency Mr. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism the Kingdom of Cambodia, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

During the meeting, H.E Mr. Nazari emphasized Iran’s strong willingness and readiness to develop cooperation with Cambodia across all sectors, particularly in tourism. He stressed the importance of signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tourism Cooperation, as its draft has been finalized. Additionally, he highlighted the necessity of high-level delegation exchanges and joint efforts to establish direct flights between Iran and Cambodia through Iranian airlines.

Minister Hak, citing the priorities set by the Prime Minister of Cambodia and the President of the Senate for developing the tourism sector, affirmed Cambodia’s readiness to sign the Tourism Cooperation MoU, facilitate high-level exchanges, and work towards establishing direct flights between the two countries.
