H.E Mr. Nazari Meets with Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia

His Excellency Mr. Ali Akbar Nazari, the accredited Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Cambodia, met with His Excellency Mr. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in Phnom Penh on Monday, January 13, 2025.

During the meeting, Minister Chheang Ra outlined Cambodia’s healthcare priorities, including education and training, pharmaceutical and vaccine production, the digitalization of the healthcare system, and the advancement of medical technologies. He expressed Cambodia’s willingness to expand cooperation in these fields.

H.E Mr. Nazari invited the Minister to visit Iran to explore its healthcare capabilities. He also proposed signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation and expressed Iran’s readiness to collaborate in areas such as offering academic scholarships, sending Iranian humanitarian medical teams to provide healthcare services in Cambodia, facilitating knowledge and technology transfer, and exporting advanced medical equipment.
